獨行俠開鍘！提前4年終止合約　5年4度闖進季後賽總教練基德走人

NBA（National Basketball Association，美國職業籃球聯賽）獨行俠今天宣布，與總教練基德（Jason Kidd）結束雙方自2021年起的合作關係。

獨行俠新任總裁烏傑里（Masai Ujiri），目前正著手調整球隊管理與教練團架構，而基德成為首波異動焦點。事實上，基德與獨行俠仍有4年、總值超過4000萬美元合約尚未到期。

現年53歲的基德，自2021年接掌兵符後，共執教5個球季，執教期間戰績179勝149敗，5季中4度率隊挺進季後賽，2022年NBA季後賽第一輪，獨行俠以4比2擊敗猶他爵士隊，接著在第二輪鏖戰七場以4比3淘汰鳳凰城太陽隊，成功挺進西區決賽，可惜最終敗給勇士，無緣總冠軍。

2024年更帶領獨行俠睽違13年重返NBA總冠軍賽，獨行俠隊以1比4敗給波士頓塞爾提克隊。

When the Mavs went in a different direction with Masai, Kidd’s days were numbered. This move isn’t surprising but is disappointing.
